DIY Nylite Project

“Tretorn sent me a pair of classic white-on-white Nylites complete with a decorating kit for The Nylite Project. I used blue fabric dye and switched out the laces. I’m not a skilled DIYer, so believe me when I say fabric dye on shoes is really easy (and kind of fun!). Also, Nylites are really really comfortable.”

Lets call this outfit what it is…boring, dull, lazy, classic, simplistic. Until you get to the shoes…So I saw one of this girl’s most recent purchases and all of those Cole Haan’s floating around and thought to myself, yea I like those shoes, but I’m saving up for a few other things that I would rather have. 

Then I realized I have a plain pair of oxfords. They were cheap, have seen better days, and I am planning on upgrading to a pair of better quality in the fall…so why not have a little fun. A little bit of paint later and voila.  I got a few different colors of paint and just plan on changing them up whenever. Arts n crafts my internet friends. (Taken with Instagram)
